Langston crowned new face of HSU

Langston was crowned the 2007 Miss HSU Thursday, March 29 after competing against 16 other contestants.

Common Book Program chooses title for fall 2007
With a newly allotted budget, Henderson's Common Book program is attempting to stimulate discourse in the campus community through books and common ground. The program is a result of brainstorming at last year's HSU Strategic Task Force workshops and began in fall 2006 with the book "Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini.…

Comic book club puts in a full day's work
The Henderson Comic Book Club is hosting the comic book Work Day with the intention of gathering artists and writers together to produce eight-page comics in eight hours or, for some of the more dedicated artist types, 24 pages in 24 hours.
The idea, said Nicholas Langley, a sophomore majoring in digital art, is to come to the first floor of RFA April 13 with no story boards or completed pages and do original work within the time frame.…

Abolished RJE still needed to exempt Review Comp
On Wednesday, March 14, Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe signed into law an act that repeals the 1995 law, which requires all students to take the rising junior exam for all students in public colleges and universities prior to graduation.
