Episode V: Toby and the hot momma

Being a single parent isn't easy. Trust me I know.
Toby is my best friend. We do a lot of things together. We eat dinner, watch TV , sing in the car and play video games together.
He's not the best conversationalist, considering the only true sentence he can say is "Mom, my baba." But I think we communicate rather well.
"Toby is the only man you need in your life."
That is my mom talking.
Usually that sentence comes up when someone I know tries to fix me up on a date.
To those of you whom wish me to date your friend/room mate/brother etc.
What are you THINKING????
I'm not trying to say that I'm a bad catch… but… I'm not a good catch either.
I'm a single mom so I'm a package deal. Where I go, Toby goes. And if you don't like that than I think it's best that you move along good sir.
Not that Toby is a bad thing. He's the best thing in my world. I would do anything for him.
Even if it means being.........well.......a single mom forever.
(Plus I don't have to share him. Muh ha ha ha)
And just because I have a child doesn't mean I'm exactly in a hurry to have another one.
Did I mention that I've been in college for seven years?
Yeah. I'm going after that coveted Student of the Decade Award.
I'm also a nerd. I'm a geek. A dweeb.
I can quote Robert Frost, William Shakespeare and Edgar Allen Poe.
But I can also quote the classics such as Homer Simpson, Peter Griffin and Eric Cartman.
I'm a video game nerd too. Hard core.
I have the triforce from Zelda tattooed on my ankle. I am addicted to World of Warcraft.
"Nothin makes me happier than pwning some n00bs w/ my uber L33T skillz. w00t!"
Do you really think a guy wants to date a girl that can pwn him at video games?
The last thing I want to do is emasculate him in front of his friends.
Oh.....who am I kidding? Of COURSE I want to do that!
I'm also mildly sarcastic. Just a little.
And I don't take anything seriously. It's hard to have a real in depth conversation with me. I will find some way to turn it around and make a perverted joke.
So, all in all, I'm not a good catch.
Oh, did I mention I have a boyfriend?
