I never said that the premise of the film was accurate; I just think it's an interesting twist on the future. There won't be any flying cars or holographic meals. There will only be people named Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho.

Like I was saying, being well-rounded can really compliment a person's education. And what's wrong with knowing more things? If you memorize the Pythagorean Theorem, what's the worst that could happen? Is knowing Pavlov's experiments and how they affect modern-day psychology really all that irritating?
It shouldn't be. In fact, it should be something that you want to learn. Sure, numbers may not be your prime interest (no pun intended), but they can help you in numerous ways. Knowing your grammar can not only show that you're well-educated, but it can also help when you write columns for your college newspaper.

I'll be honest. I'm not the best example of the star student. I skip class, I don't study for exams like I should and I procrastinate just as badly as the next guy. But I've tried to go outside the realm of history and learn new things. Why?

Because who wants to be capable in just one thing?
