So what can you wear to keep your legs warm while strutting in these stylish boots? The answer is leggings.
This winter leggings are officially replacing jeans.
And not just your typical black or brown pair of leggings. Animal print, ripped and shredded, loud and totally outrageously colored leggings is what you should be putting in your shopping cart. And believe it or not, leather, especially leather leggings, get the green light this year.
Option two is the stiletto. Squared toe, chunky heeled and the newest edition, the low-rise bootie stiletto is a fashion trend winner. Now that our bottoms are covered, we can move to the top.
Nowadays whenever you walk into a store and pick up a blouse looking article of clothing, you might ask yourself as I often do, "Is this a shirt or a dress?"
Well thank goodness, this season it doesn't really matter.
If it looks long enough to be a dress, it's perfect for your leggings and your knee or over-the-knee boots, so go ahead and pick it up.
Don't ever be afraid to add your own touch of creativity to your outfit. Add a belt or purposely stretch out old shirts in your closet for an off the shoulder look.
Cardigans are another trendy option for the winter season either to wear casually or dressed up. Different patterns, including stripes, can liven up the bleak season.
Another, must-have for a lady's winter wardrobe is a trendy winter coat.
If you like the classic look, the pea coat is a great choice. Choose from a wide variety of styles such as the single or double breasted look, or the thigh or knee length coat.
Pea coats also come in an assortment of colors and patterns, and it is always hard to pick just one. But if you are on a budget, as most students are, go with the one that matches the majority of your shoes like a brown or a black coat.
If you crave a more retro look from time to time, the leather jacket is back in style and extremely popular.
