Last week the Oracle reported that one of the paper's computers that was stolen had been recovered by campus police. On Monday, the official names were released of the suspects involved.
Offical campus police reports named junior mass media major Jerome Ambrose, junior sociology major Brad Engram and junior business management major Glenn Pettis as the three. All three were members of the Reddie football team this year but have all been released and have left school.
None of the three are from Arkansas; all were recruited from different states including Virginia, Georgia and California to play football. All three have been charged with commercial burglary and theft greater than $2500 resulting in felonies.
"We are not going to Virginia to get anyone," said Johnny Campbell, chief of campus police, regarding any possible extradition.
Though no arrests have been made as of press time, it is still likely that one or more of the suspects could be arrested in the coming weeks.
